Dr Andrew Perkins is an oncologist, haematologist and pathologist with an interest in inherited and acquired blood diseases.
Dr Perkins undertook clinical and laboratory haematology training in Sydney, and post-graduate training at the University of Melbourne and Harvard University.
Dr Perkins is currently Professor of Haematology at the Alfred Hospital, Chair of Genomics at the Alfred Research Alliance, and a group leader at the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases at Monash University. Dr Perkins has research interests in the genetics of blood cancers and red blood cell blood diseases. He sits on the ALLG subcommittee for MPNs and runs national clinical trials myelofibrosis.
Dr Andrew Perkins has private rooms in Erin Street next to Epworth Hospital in Melbourne.
